Building digitally capable governments and public institutions for 21st century Africa.
The quality of Africa’s digital future will be shaped not just by the private sector — but by the capacity of governments and public institutions to harness technology in service of their citizens. DFA’s Public Sector programme is the continent’s leading capacity-building initiative for government officials and public sector professionals.
Delivered through a modular, institution-tailored model, this programme equips public sector teams with the knowledge, skills, and frameworks needed to lead digital transformation, deliver citizen-facing digital services, and develop evidence-based digital policy. We work directly with ministries, regulatory agencies, local governments, and pan-African institutions.
By the end of this programme, you will be able to:
Designed for senior civil servants and ministry officials, regulators and statutory body leaders, local government executives, parliamentary staff, and officials of pan-African institutions such as the African Union, ECOWAS, and AfDB. All programmes are delivered to institutional cohorts by arrangement.
